An individual earned a substantial sum from wagers on the downfall of Venezuela's president shortly prior to it was officially announced, leading to inquiries about potential gains made from inside knowledge of American actions.

Sudden Shift in Wagers

Wagers on Polymarket, an online prediction market, that the leader would be out of power by the month's conclusion rose in the period preceding President Donald Trump stated on the weekend that Maduro had been taken into custody.
