The EU might “act quickly and firmly” in response to what it deems “unwarranted” travel bans imposed by the US against five European individuals involved in fighting online hate and disinformation, a European Commission spokesperson has said.
EU Officials Condemn US Move as ‘Intimidation’
European leaders such as Emmanuel Macron charged Washington of “bullying and threats”, following the travel bans targeted individuals that were at the heart of campaigns to enact laws governing American tech companies.
